First, self-knowledge is a preface to self-control. A fair amount of self-examination is good; too much leads to morbidness; too little conducts to careless and hasty action.

We all know that self-discipline is in fact self-management. If you want to get slim, you need to manage your appetite. If you want to succeed, you need to manage your heart. So set your goal and write down your reasons for them. Establish a list for your daily work and life, and execute them out without mercy. This is not sacrificing your freedom. This is freedom.
