六、介詞on、by用來(lái)表示時(shí)間

6.1on (在…時(shí)、在(某日)、在某日早/午/晚、當(dāng)…時(shí)候、和…同時(shí)、剛一…)指明：

日子、日期、星期加上早午晚

1. on the first在一號(hào)(指某月一號(hào),如二號(hào)要說(shuō)second等。其實(shí)意思是指某月的第

幾天)

2. We’re having a party on the fifth of June. (或 on June the fifth)

我們會(huì)在六月五日舉行一個(gè)晚會(huì)。

3. on July the third 1990在1990年7月3日

4. My brother is coming on Sunday. (on Sunday) 我的哥哥會(huì)在星期天來(lái)。

5. on Sunday morning /afternoon 在星期天早上/下午

6. on Friday evening 在星期五晚上

7. on the next morning隔天早上

8. on the following afternoon在下一個(gè)傍晚

9. on the night before在前一個(gè)晚上

10.on the morning of 5th在五號(hào)的早上

(你可能會(huì)說(shuō)為什么不是in the morning? 如果你把morning of 抽掉,就可看出原來(lái)是

on the 5th嘍。morning 也可換成evening, afternoon)

11. on the afternoon of his birthday 在他生日那天下午 (on the afternoon 不可用 in...，同上)

6.2by (的時(shí)候、到、等到…已經(jīng)) 用在天、時(shí)間：

1. by day 白天(的時(shí)候)

2. by 2 o’clock到兩點(diǎn)鐘

3. by this time等到現(xiàn)在(已經(jīng))…

4. miss by a minute遲一分鐘
