1. You will receive a body.
You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period.

2. You will learn lessons.
You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called Life. Each day in this school you will learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.

你入讀了一所叫做"生活"的大學(xué)的全日制非正式學(xué)校。在學(xué)校的每一天你都將接受教育。你可以愛(ài)你所愛(ài)或者視之無(wú)聊而又豪無(wú)裨益。
3. There are no mistakes, only lessons.
Growth is a process of trial and error: Experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately "works".
3.沒(méi)有過(guò)失，只有教訓(xùn)。
成長(zhǎng)就是反復(fù)"嘗試-犯錯(cuò)"的漸進(jìn)過(guò)程，或者說(shuō)是實(shí)驗(yàn)。那些所謂"失敗"的實(shí)驗(yàn)和最終"奏效"的實(shí)驗(yàn)一樣重要，都是這個(gè)過(guò)程的一部分。
4. A lesson is repeated until learned.
A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. Once learned, you then go on to the next lesson.

5. Learning lessons does not end.
There is no part of life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.

生活的每個(gè)部分無(wú)不包含可學(xué)之處。只要活著，你就學(xué)無(wú)止境。
6. "There" is no better than "here".
When your "there" has become a "here", you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here".
當(dāng)你終于擁有了不曾擁有的東西，你只會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)自己又在向往別的東西，它們看起來(lái)總比你擁有的東西要好些。
7. Others are merely mirrors of you.
You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects something you love or hate about yourself.

不要去愛(ài)慕或憎惡別人的品性，除非這些品性在你自己身上也能找到，而你以同樣的態(tài)度處之。
8. What you make of your life is up to you.
You have all the tools and resources you need.
What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.

9. The answers to Life’s questions lie inside you.
All you need to do is look, listen and trust.
